Mojito salmon:

Mojito Salmon from Kamma Thordarson on Vimeo.

Recipe requires:

A piece of salmon (weight at your own discretion)
1/2 lime
1/2 TBS sugar
1/2 shot rum
5 leaves of mint

Sauce:

200g sour cream
8 strands of chives
1 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp coriander (although I say cumin, a mix of the two would also work)
1 tsp chili powder
2 TBS philadelphia cream cheese

Spicy Stuff:

4 pieces celery
1 jalapeno pepper
3 spring onions
Italian seasoning to taste / can be replaced with oregano or basil

Also:

Boiled potatoes & baby carrots

Instructions:

Start boiling the potatoes and baby carrots.
Squeeze half a lime over the salmon, sprinkle sugar on top, pour half a shot of rum over it and cut mint evenly on top. Let marinate for 20-30 mins.
Chop down the vegetables, fry them with Italian seasoning.
Fry the salmon on the skin-side for 2 minutes, flip over and fry for 3 mins.

Serve in nice bowls, with either white wine or water and candle light if possible.

Now I have something else to look for in a wife, someone who enjoys and is good as a cook as you.

Very nice. Although I do believe Sturla belongs behind the camera, I think he is more comfortable there :) We really need to get Bragi cooking, he is the only one of us 4 that doesn't, or maybe ill just keep him behind the camera aswell and make may own cooking videos. I propose a cooking video duel on the internet! Múhahahaha prepare to be overcooked...

Thank you Greg, and Þóra - YOU´RE ON!!!! When you come to NYC we´ll do a competition show ;) My mother also pointed out that you shouldn´t fry the salmon if you put sugar on it, bbqing would be more suitable, or no sugar. And my friend Ian suggested MORE RHUM.
